A special issue will be dedicated to articles submitted to the Topical Meeting on Photonics 2025 (TMP2025). TMP2025 welcomes original research manuscripts that present scientifically sound experiments and contribute substantial new insights to the field of photonics. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to evaluate their quality, impact, and significance. The recommended length for an article is no more than THREE (3) pages.
Types of Submissions Accepted
Research Articles – Full-length original research papers reporting novel findings and advancements in photonics.
Review Papers – Concise and precise updates on recent progress in a specific area of photonics research.
Short Communications – Brief reports presenting results that could significantly impact future research.
All submitted papers will be managed and processed by the editorial team of Jurnal OptoElektronik. Authors must submit their manuscripts via the following link:
TMP2025 aims to foster meaningful discussions, collaborations, and knowledge exchange, providing researchers with a valuable platform to share and disseminate impactful research.
Manuscript Preparation for Review
Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Melayu. Jurnal OptoElektronik does not impose a specific format for initial manuscript submissions intended for review. However, a clear and well-structured format is recommended to facilitate the review process. Preferably, manuscripts should be prepared in a single-column, double-spaced format for readability, no more than three pages.
Compulsory items to be included in the manuscript include:
Title: To be placed top of the first page.
Authors, affiliations and correspondents email: Placed immediately below title. For multiple affiliations, please mark accordingly.
Abstract: Limit to about 200 words.
Keywords: Up to 8 keywords, no acronyms.
Main text: Only three section layers allowed (section, subsection and sub-subsection). Make sure that the section header layers are distinguishable.
Figures/tables captions: All figures and tables must be accompanied by numbered captions, and has to be mentioned/referred at least once in the text.
Equations (if applicable): All symbols in equations should be defined before or after the equation. Displayed equations should be clearly numbered; and mentioned/referred to at least once in the text
References: References cited in the text should be listed and numbered at the end of the manuscript. When citing, enclose its corresponding number in square bracket, like [1]. Information to include: Authors, article/book title, publication/conference, Volume, Number, Year, DOI/URL/ISBN.
